Is it easy to implement and use?
The Mobile HandPunch is ready to use in three simple steps:
- Bolt the Mobile HandPunch, with or without the weather/vandal resistant case, to desired location(s).
- Select foreman or employee to familiarize themselves with employee sign in process and how to add employees on-site.
- Select payroll staff to administer timecard verification, employee registration and deliver messages such as ‘safety certificate expiration dates’ or ‘job details etc.’.
Once employees complete the 1 minute registration process they can sign in and out on any Mobile HandPunch on any jobsite in your network. They simply place their hand in the scanner for 2 seconds until they see a green light and all data is automatically uploaded to the database so foremen or admin DO NOT have to collect the information.
Do you provide support and a warranty?
There is a full year warranty against any manufacturer’s defects. Plexxis provides all phone and on-site support if required. Please contact Plexxis for full details on our purchase and support agreement.
Is it legal to use hand scanners?
In 2008 the Government ruled that Biometric Hand Scanners can be used by employers. In short, the court decided that as the scanners only take measurements and DO NOT take full prints or images of hands they DO NOT VIOLATE anyone’s privacy. To see full and complete ruling click here
